Brad Marchand Scores Second Straight Game-Winning Goal
7 years agoBoston Bruins forward Brad Marchand scored the game-winning goal with only 22 seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Bruins over the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Thursday night. The left winger had scored the overtime-winner in Boston’s previous game against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night. Marchand’s skills have certainly come to light like in the 2016-17 season when he exploded for 85 points in 80 games played. The 29-year-old has built on that momentum this year while playing alongside rising stars David Pastrnak and Selke Trophy candidate Patrice Bergeron, recording 67 points in only 52 games played. Keep Marchand in your lineup, as the consistently elite winger appears as motivated as ever and the Bruins continue to roll through the final month of the regular season.
