Paul George Dumps 21 Points On Phoenix
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George scored 21 points against Phoenix on Thursday. George played only 29 minutes, shooting a subpar 7-for-16 from the field, but made up for it from behind the arc, finishing the night going 4-for-7 from downtown. He was virtually quiet elsewhere but did just enough to justify his fantasy existence on the night. George continues to have one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 22.2 points and 5.5 boards per game. Though he has taken a slight dip in his rebounding numbers, he is making up for it by shooting a career-best 41 percent from downtown despite taking an extra attempt per outing. OKC will have a day off before meeting up with the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. Due to a much tougher defensive matchup and a slower pace of play, George may not be as favorable in DFS contests.
