C.J. McCollum's Shooting Struggles Continue
7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum can't seem to find the mark recently, as he struggled with his shot again on Thursday night. He scored 19 points but shot just 7-for-18 from the floor and 2-for-3 from the foul line. However, he did chip in four rebounds, three three-pointers, one steal and one block in 37 minutes. Since his 50-point explosion against the Chicago Bulls, his shooting has been downright lousy. In his past 11 games, McCollum is shooting just 40.5 percent from the floor. He's also not doing much to offset the weak shooting averaging with just 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in that stretch. Things don't get any easier for McCollum, as he will in all likelihood be matched up against lockdown defender Paul George in the Trail Blazers next game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
