Texans Could Move On From Lamar Miller
7 years agoHouston Texans running back Lamar Miller, who averaged a career-worst 3.7 yards per carry in 2017, could be released this offseason. He's two years into his four-year deal, but the Texans could give him one more chance with $64 million in salary cap space. Miller also had 35 fewer touches last season despite playing in more games than he did in 2016. The bottom line is that Miller struggled and backup D'Onta Foreman impressed before landing on Injured Reserve, so Miller's playing time and touches will be in serious jeopardy in 2018.
