Knicks Sign Troy Williams to 10-Day Contract
7 years agoThe New York Knicks have agreed to a 10-day contract with guard/forward Troy Williams. He was waived from the Houston Rockets last week because they wanted to clear a roster spot for Joe Johnson. The Knicks have an open roster spot, so they won't need to cut anyone. Williams has played in just four contests this season but appeared in 30 games during the 2016-17 campaign. The Knicks are thin at small forward, so Williams is expected to see playing time. He should be left on the waiver wire in standard leagues but could be someone worth looking at in deeper leagues. It depends on how much playing time he receives, so owners should wait and see with Williams.
