Marvin Williams in Sneaky Good Spot
7 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward Marvin Williams finds himself in a good spot against the Pacers, a team that has had a hard time locking down the opposing four spot. On the season, the Pacers are giving up the most points and the most threes made to opposing power forwards. Williams, who has played more than 25 minutes in the Hornets last five games, has always been a strong force from the perimeter. Seven games ago against Detroit, Williams was hot from beyond the arc, drilling all five of his attempts. Monday will be as good as any for Williams to put up a similar performance, but that still does not make him a safe play, since his value depends heavily on whether or not his shot is falling.
