Keeping up with his mediocre debut with the Philadelphia Eagles thus far into the season, DeMarco Murray is now listed as inactive during Week 3 against the New York Jets. Despite being listed as questionable after injuring his hamstring during practice on Sept. 23, ESPN’s Adam Schefter originally reported that “Murray has told people he plans to play today but wants to test [his] hamstring pregame because he’s still unsure."
This is guaranteed to make fantasy owners of Murray even more frustrated, considering his ghost-like absence during the Eagles-Cowboys match up during Week 2. Look for Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles to handle a majority of Philadelphia's carries this Sunday as they face-off against the New York Jets.
Most fantasy owners saw this coming considering Eagles head coach Chip Kelly held Murray out of practice during the week and was unsure if the running back would even play on Sunday.
