Yves Missi (ankle) has been downgraded from questionable to unavailable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic due to a left ankle sprain.
Kelly Olynyk (personal) has also been ruled out, so
Karlo Matkovic and
Mo Bamba must step up at center. Matkovic has built up some momentum with a three-game streak of double-digit scoring. Bamba recently inked a 10-day deal with the Pelicans and made his team debut in Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, collecting seven rebounds and one block in 15 minutes.

Yves Missi (knee) will be active on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. The rookie big man hurt his right knee just before the All-Star break, and the Pelicans initially listed him as questionable for Friday's action. Missi's performances have been inconsistent, but he has had a solid rookie campaign. The 20-year-old is averaging 8.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 27.1 minutes. Currently, Dallas' frontcourt is weak due to injuries, presenting Missi with an excellent opportunity to fill up the box score on Friday night.
