16 seconds agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (ankle) will jump back into the lineup for Monday's tilt against the Detroit Pistons. He has been cleared to play after sitting out two contests due to an ankle sprain. Missi's return is set to relegate Karlo Matkovic back to the bench, although he could still be a factor in the game after impressing recently and averaging 22.8 minutes this month. Missi has logged 27.0 minutes per game in March, recording 8.8 points and 6.0 rebounds. It has been one of his weakest months in an otherwise strong rookie campaign.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

5 days agoThe New Orleans Pelicans announced center Yves Missi (ankle) has been downgraded from questionable to unavailable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic due to a left ankle sprain. Kelly Olynyk (personal) has also been ruled out, so Karlo Matkovic and Mo Bamba must step up at center. Matkovic has built up some momentum with a three-game streak of double-digit scoring. Bamba recently inked a 10-day deal with the Pelicans and made his team debut in Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, collecting seven rebounds and one block in 15 minutes.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (knee) will be active on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. The rookie big man hurt his right knee just before the All-Star break, and the Pelicans initially listed him as questionable for Friday's action. Missi's performances have been inconsistent, but he has had a solid rookie campaign. The 20-year-old is averaging 8.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 27.1 minutes. Currently, Dallas' frontcourt is weak due to injuries, presenting Missi with an excellent opportunity to fill up the box score on Friday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi (knee) is considered questionable for Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The rookie big man suffered a hyperextended knee right before the All-Star break, and the time off may have given him enough time to come back before missing any games, but it looks like the team will decide leading up to tip-off. With Kelly Olynyk set to make his Pelicans debut, he becomes an instant streaming option if Missi has to be sidelined. Plus, Karlo Matkovic could help fantasy managers in deeper leagues after putting up 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks in their last game.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
