D'Andre Swift Dominates Backfield Touches With Modest Output In Week 16
3 weeks agoChicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift saw the vast majority of backfield opportunities in Week 16 but struggled to turn the chances into substantial production in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Detroit Lions. Swift saw nine carries with only 20 rushing yards, though he caught all three of his targets for an additional 33 yards receiving. With fellow running back Roschon Johnson returning from a concussion, Swift's usage was difficult to project. Despite Johnson's return, Swift saw 12 of the 13 total opportunities between the two. The 25-year-old is set to continue dominating backfield touches against the Seattle Seahawks but is mainly on the RB3/FLEX radar for Week 17.
