Braelon Allen Returns To Smaller Role In Week 15
1 month agoNew York Jets running back Braelon Allen is expected to see his workload decrease heading into Week 15 of the NFL season. Allen broke out with 11 carries for 43 rushing yards last Sunday, plus four catches for an additional 38 yards through the air. However, he had earned these additional opportunities by stepping up with Breece Hall (knee) sidelined. In the loss to Miami, Allen and Isaiah Davis split touches. This weekend, though, Hall is expected to play. He might not be 100 percent, so Allen should still earn several carries, but the rookie's workload likely isn't large enough to justify starting him in fantasy football. Even against a team like the Jaguars, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs, Allen is best viewed as a high-end RB4.
