Ottawa Senators center Shane Pinto potted two goals in Friday's impressive 3-0 win on the road against Carolina. He logged the game's first goal with 4:04 played in the second period and wrapped up the scoring with an empty-netter inside the final minute of play. Pinto entered the action with only one goal for the campaign, which came in the season opener against Florida on Oct. 10. He had been without a point since Oct. 19. The 24-year-old now has five points (three goals, two assists) in 21 appearances for the season. It's been a massively disappointing campaign for Pinto, who averaged 0.66 points a season ago. He's stuck in a third-line role but sees regular power-play action, so you would expect Pinto to produce offense much more consistently.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
