Will Levis Impressive In Win Over Texans
1 day agoTennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis completed 18-of-24 passes for 278 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception that was returned for a score in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Houston Texans. He also added 10 rushing yards on eight attempts in the contest. The young gunslinger played arguably his best game of the season on Sunday, reaching his second-highest passing yardage total and quarterback rating thus far. Levis was pressured all game long, leading to eight sacks for the Texans, but he was able to pick up some chunk plays as well, including a 63-yarder to Calvin Ridley while under heavy heat. The Kentucky product also hit Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for a 38-yard touchdown in the first quarter, continuing his great rapport with the young receiver. It wasn't all great, as Levis also threw a telegraphed pick-six deep in the third quarter that almost lost Tennessee the game. However, Levis responded with a 70-yard touchdown strike to tight end Chig Okonkwo in the fourth quarter, which proved to be the game-winning score. With three straight serviceable showings, Levis is now in the conversation for a weekly option in superflex formats starting next week against the Washington Commanders.
