5 months agoMinnesota Wild left wing Kirill Kaprizov scored twice and tallied an assist in their victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday evening. Kaprizov scored his first goal of the evening in the opening frame off a wrist shot which extended the Minnesota lead to three goals. Then, in the final frame, the 27-year-old would tack on the primary assist on Marco Rossi's goal and then tally his second goal of the evening, this time on the power-play. Kaprizov has now scored at least three points in each of his past two games Through 14 games this campaign, the winger has tallied an impressive 27 points with nine goals and 18 assists. Kaprizov remains a high-end winger and should be locked into all lineups given his elite scoring production.

Kirill Kaprizov Likely Out For At Least Two More Games
3 months agoMinnesota Wild left wing Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) will likely sit out at least two more games. According to The Athletic's Michael Russo, Kaprizov is not expected to join the team for an upcoming two-game road trip. The Wild star last played on Dec. 23, missing three games. Minnesota has also placed Kaprizov on injured reserve, although he can be activated anytime he's ready to return. Matt Boldy has skated on the first line during Kaprizov's absence, but it hasn't helped him break out of his offensive slump. The 23-year-old will enter Thursday's matchup against Washington with a run of one point in six games.
