Diontae Johnson Has Disappointing Outing In Loss To Commanders
1 month agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ribs, hamstring, ankle) was questionable for the Week 7 tilt against the Washington Commanders after not practicing most of the week. Johnson was active but only produced one catch for 17 yards in Sunday's 40-7 blowout loss. He was targeted three times despite entering the week as the third-most targeted receiver in the league. His lone 17-yard catch made Johnson the second most productive pass catcher on Carolina. Johnson remains a flex option against a stingy Denver defense next week, but this marks the fourth time he has registered three or fewer receptions this season.
