Chad Ryland Hits Go-Ahead Field Goal As Matt Prater's Replacement
2 months agoArizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland went 3-for-4 in field goal attempts and drilled his only extra-point try in Sunday's 24-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Ryland tallied 10 points and nailed the go-ahead 35-yard field goal in Sunday's victory. With starting kicker Matt Prater (knee) ruled out, Ryland was promoted to take kicking duties in Week 5. Despite a blocked field goal that resulted in a touchdown, Ryland did enough to help secure the win. If Prater remains sidelined, Ryland will likely handle kicking duties in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers. However, fantasy managers may have better kicker options to stream off the waiver wire.
