Deshaun Watson Struggles Vs. Commanders In Week 5 Loss
2 months agoCleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled in a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 5. Watson completed 15 of his 28 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown while adding three carries for 14 yards and losing a fumble in the losing effort. As has been the issue for much of the season, Watson took plenty of hits as the Commanders sacked him seven times over the course of the game while at the same time failing to pass for 200 yards, a milestone he has yet to reach this season. Watson was an interesting sleeper heading into Week 5 thanks to a leaky Washington secondary but he instead failed to take advantage of the plus matchup, turning in yet another mediocre fantasy performance. The veteran quarterback will hope to turn things around ahead of a Week 6 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
