Zamir White Punches In Two-Yard Score
3 months agoAt the moment, Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White sits on top of the Raiders' running back depth chart, and nothing happened Saturday that should change that narrative. White started Saturday's game for Las Vegas and led the rest of the running back room in touches until the second half. White handled six carries on Saturday for 23 yards and a touchdown, doubling newly signed Alexander Mattison and veteran Ameer Abdullah, who both had three carries each. Neither White, nor Mattison saw any work in the passing game, while Abdullah had one catch for 10 yards on two targets. At the end of 2023, after a Josh Jacobs injury, White stepped up and averaged 99 yards over the last four games. Expectations for White are high but should be tempered, he's currently ranked around the 20th running back in the league, but at only 24-years old there's a strong breakout opportunity for those selecting him in the mid to later rounds.
