4 months agoDefenseman Oliver Kylington has joined the Colorado Avalanche for the 2024-25 NHL campaign. The Swedish native, who was an unrestricted free agent, signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract earlier in the week. Kylington joins his second NHL franchise after starting his career in Calgary. He made 201 appearances with the Flames, scoring 55 points (17 goals, 38 assists). It's a low-risk, high-reward deal for the Avalanche. Kylington missed the entire 2022-23 campaign for personal reasons and was limited to 33 games and eight points (three goals, five assists) last term, but he put together a 31-point campaign in 2021-22.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
