Jhonattan Vegas Making First Start Since Win At Wyndham Championship
4 months agoIt was a long wait to get back into the winner's circle for Jhonattan Vegas before capturing the title at the 3M Open a few weeks ago. He was the most consistent player by far at TPC Twin Cities, but interestingly, the Venezuelan golfer didn't rank higher than 7th in any strokes gained statistics for the week. It will be important for him to maintain some level of that form to make a deep run in the playoffs, as he is currently 67th in the FedEx Cup race. His history at the Wyndham Championship has been feast or famine with more missed cuts than good finishes in six career starts. DFS players can lean into his recent form and current ranking of fifth in strokes gained off the tee (+0.706) and 13th in strokes gained on approach (0.530) for the season, but he is still far from a must-start at $9,800 on FanDuel.
