4 months agoThe Philadelphia Phillies are set to promote infielder Starlyn Caba to Single-A Clearwater. Caba earns the promotion after hitting .254 with two homers, 17 RBI and 37 stolen bases in 52 games for the Phillies in the Florida Complex League. The 18-year-old is the Phillies No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline and was one of the bigger international signings in the 2023 class, when he signed out of the Dominican Republic for $3 million. Caba is very athletic on both sides of the ball and have a very strong eye at the plate for such a young age.
