5 months agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres. It sounds like Seager is doing better after being hit by a pitch during Saturday's game. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Seager remains day-to-day with a left hand contusion. Josh Smith will cover shortstop and bat second versus right-hander Dylan Cease on Tuesday.
