5 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy (oblique) is reportedly progressing slowly in his recovery efforts, according to manager Dave Roberts. The left-handed slugger has been shut down from swinging a bat for at least the next week. The Dodgers haven't given a clear timetable for his return but fantasy managers shouldn't expect it to be anytime soon. This is bad timing with the Dodgers also losing Mookie Betts (wrist) on Sunday. That being said, Cavan Biggio, Kike Hernandez, and Miguel Rojas should all see increased playing time going forward. None of these players have done enough with the bat this season to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
