DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Corbin Burnes at CWS ($10,600 DraftKings; $10,600 FanDuel)
Burnes is coming off a dominant outing against the Mariners in which he allowed one run and recorded 11 strikeouts over six innings. He has logged at least six innings in each of his last six starts. For the season, he now has a 2.56 ERA and a 3.18 FIP. While he comes with a hefty salary, he could be well worth it against a White Sox team that has scored the fewest runs in baseball.
Zac Gallen vs. MIA ($10,300 DraftKings; $10,200 FanDuel)
The Marlins are another good matchup, given that they have scored the sixth-fewest runs in baseball. Another thing working in Gallen’s favor is that this start will be at home. Since the start of the 2022 season, Gallen has a 2.53 FIP and a 0.95 WHIP at home. He has the makings of one of the safer pitching options of the evening.

Christian Scott vs. SF ($7,900 DraftKings; $8,200 FanDuel)
After two good starts to begin his career, Scott gave up four runs over four innings to the Marlins in his last outing. Still, he has 17 strikeouts and has issued just four walks over 16.2 innings. At Triple-A, he had 36 strikeouts over 25.1 innings. His strikeout upside makes him an intriguing tournament option against the Giants.
Also consider: Shota Imanaga at STL, Justin Verlander at OAK

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Alec Bohm – 3B, PHI vs. Ty Blach ($6,100 DK; $4,100 FD)
With so many top-tier starting pitchers, paying up for hitters will be difficult. For those willing to spend up on bats, the Phillies at Coors Field should be a popular team to stack. Blach is on pace to finish with a WHIP of at least 1.40 for the third straight season. A lefty being on the mound is ideal for Bohm, who has a career 142 wRC+ versus southpaws.
Edouard Julien – 2B, MIN vs. Jose Urena ($4,500 DK; $2,700 FD)
The Rangers are running out of healthy starting pitchers. Urena had worked out of the bullpen earlier this season, but has since moved into the starting rotation. He has finished with a WHIP of at least 1.48 in each of the last five seasons, so the Twins could be in line for a big night at the plate. Julien’s biggest problem is his 34.3 percent strikeout rate. However, Urena only has a 15.5 percent strikeout rate for his career, so Julien might not have problems making contact.
Edmundo Sosa – 2B/3B/SS, PHI vs. Ty Blach ($3,800 DK; $3,400 FD)
Staying with the Phillies, Sosa is also worth targeting. He has a .491 wOBA and a .355 ISO versus left-handed pitchers this season. He also enters this matchup on a heater, hitting 12-for-33 (.364) with a .667 slugging percentage over his last 12 games.
Also consider: Jose Ramirez, Ketel Marte, Ezequiel Tovar

Max Kepler - OF, MIN vs. Jose Urena ($4,800 DK; $3,300 FD)
Kepler enters this matchup with a .393 wOBA and a .233 ISO. He has also lowered his strikeout rate to 16.5 percent. His .346 BABIP likely isn’t sustainable over the course of the season, but with how poorly Urena has pitched, don’t expect him to be the one to slow Kepler down.

Kevin Pillar – OF, CLE vs. Logan Allen ($3,800 DK; $3,000 FD)
One of the biggest surprises this season has to be Pillar, who has a .435 wOBA and a .292 ISO. For his career, he has a .303 wOBA and a .154 ISO. Like Kepler, he has been aided by a .373 BABIP. He’s not going to continue to produce like this, but he could continue his heater when he faces Allen. Through his first 10 starts, Allen has a 4.91 ERA that is supported by a 4.79 FIP.
Tyler Freeman – OF, CLE vs. Patrick Sandoval ($3,500 DK; $3,000 FD)
Our quest for cheap hitting options brings us to Freeman, who doesn’t exactly have great numbers with his .683 OPS this season. However, he is 11-for-32 (.344) with four doubles and five walks over his last nine games. Sandoval has had plenty of problems keeping hitters off base, following up his 1.51 WHIP last year with a 1.47 WHIP this season.
Also consider: Shohei Ohtani, Taylor Ward, Byron Buxton
