8 months agoOn Sunday afternoon, Chase Elliott finished third in the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway. Sunday's race was a big day for Hendrick Motorsports as the company claimed the top three finishing positions, the first for any team at Martinsville. For the 22.74% that rostered him on DraftKings, Elliott came through in a big way as he scored 75.45 points and appeared in the winning lineup in the "NAS $400K Engineer", the company's featured contest. DFS implications aside, Sunday's performance should give fans of the second-generation star tremendous hope as this will be the same track the series runs at in the final race before the Championship Four, which should bode well for his championship dreams.
