Tristan Beck Undergoes Successful Arm Surgery
9 months agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Tristan Beck (arm) underwent successful vascular surgery to repair an aneurysm in his upper right arm, per the Athletic's Andrew Baggarly. He was placed on the 60-day injured list Sunday but was on track to start the season in the team's rotation. The Giants currently have numerous injuries to their pitching staff, so Beck may have the opportunity to start when he returns from the IL. The 27-year-old pitched mostly out of the bullpen last season, compiling a 3.92 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 19.2% strikeout rate in 85 innings pitched.
