Domantas Sabonis Joins Select Group With 20th Triple-Double
10 months agoSacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis routinely bagged another triple-double in Sunday's meeting with the Clippers, completing a 123-107 victory with 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists. He added three steals during a monster night while shooting 7-for-17 from the field with a 3-for-4 effort at the line. Sabonis became the sixth player in NBA history to log at least 20 triple-doubles in a single season, joining Oscar Robertson, Russell Westbrook, Wilt Chamberlain, and Nikola Jokic. It's been a huge season for the Lithuanian giant, who has collected 20.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 8.4 across the entire year. He will enter Monday's matchup versus Bam Adebayo and the Heat with a run of five triple-doubles in six games.
