Zion Williamson Uncertain To Play Against Spurs
10 months agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (foot) has been marked as questionable on the team's injury report leading up to their Friday night game against the San Antonio Spurs. Williamson was unable to play in their last game with the same left foot bone contusion and is now in danger of missing his second consecutive contest. The 23-year-old hasn't been forced to miss back-to-back games all season, which has been a refreshing trend after his injury-plagued start to his NBA career. If he's unable to suit up in this one, Trey Murphy III would likely move into the starting five again unless Herbert Jones (adductor) can play. Larry Nance Jr. (ankle) could also receive some extra minutes if he's cleared, otherwise there'd be some more Dyson Daniels and Naji Marshall minutes.
