Doc Rivers Hired By Bucks To Replace Adrian Griffin
10 months agoThe Milwaukee Bucks have parted ways with first-year head coach Adrian Griffin this week, and according to Adrian Wojnarowski, they are set to hire Doc Rivers as his replacement. Despite the team's strong start of 30-13 under Griffin, the Bucks decided on the change due to a significant defensive decline. Rivers, who most recently coached the Philadelphia 76ers from 2020-2023, led the team to 50 wins twice but faced challenges progressing beyond the second round of the playoffs. The former NBA Champion coach will now aim to maximize the talents of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
