Andrew Mangiapane Dishes Out Three Assists In Sunday's Win
12 months agoCalgary Flames winger Andrew Mangiapane was the top performer in Sunday's 4-3 win over Philadelphia, logging three assists. His playmaking helped Calgary grab a 3-1 lead in the contest, with Mikael Backlund and Nazem Kadri benefiting from Mangiapane's efforts, and the Flames winger also collected an assist when Blake Coleman scored an empty-net goal to seal the victory. It was an impressive way to finish an otherwise disappointing month. Mangiapane went into the final game of the year, having collected only three points in his previous 12 December appearances. He's slightly improved his productivity compared to last season, but Mangiapane is still far from the form that made him a 35-goal scorer in 2021-22. The 27-year-old has lit the lamp just six times in the current campaign, adding 14 assists across 35 appearances.
