Bam Adebayo Out Again On Monday
12 months agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo (hip) was ruled out ahead of Monday's game in Charlotte. The 26-year-old has battled a hip contusion for a few weeks, although things must have gotten worse along the way, considering he'll now miss his fourth straight contest. That said, Adebayo has averaged a career-high 22.3 points, adding 9.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks this season, so fantasy managers hope this doesn't turn into an even lengthier absence. But with Haywood Highsmith (back) also sidelined on Monday night, Orlando Robinson, averaging 12.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in three starts this season, should continue to fill the void in the rotation. However, guys like Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kyle Lowry, and Caleb Martin have benefited from extra scoring chances caused by Adebayo's absence.
