Bengals Not Expected To Alter Game Plan For Jake Browning
1 year agoThe Cincinnati Bengals offense is going to be less productive without Joe Burrow (wrist) at quarterback for the rest of the season. However, the Bengals coaching staff believes that Jake Browning, who has been with the team since 2021, can operate all facets of the offense and that it won't have to alter their game-planning or play-calling with Browning now starting under center. Hopefully for fantasy managers that have Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, the drop-off won't be as drastic as you might fear. Running back Joe Mixon, meanwhile, should have more of a workload as the coaching staff looks to take a little pressure off Browning. Heading into a Week 12 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it sounds as though the Bengals will try to keep everything as normal as possible on offense.
