Late Wreck Ruins Tyler Reddick's Race At Texas
1 year agoIt looked like it was going to be a very strong points day for Tyler Reddick at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon, but a late wreck (with 12 laps remaining) relegated the defending Texas winner to a disappointing 25th-place finish. Reddick won the first Stage of the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 and led 36 laps on the day but earned just 22 total points because of the wreck. After the race he told Kickin' The Tires, "Just sucked. That's pretty much it, honestly. Great car, nothing to show for it." With two races remaining in the Round of 12 Playoffs, Reddick now sits three points below the cut line.
