Ranger Suarez Strikes Out 10 In No-Decision
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez was dominant throughout most of his start versus the Miami Marlins on Sunday. The left-hander allowed three runs on two hits over 6.1 innings of work here. Suarez allowed three walks, but also struck out a season-high 10 batters during this game. He was cruising until the seventh inning where he was charged with three earned runs and handed the no-decision. Before this game, Suarez had allowed opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his last four outings. He should be a viable streaming option against the St. Louis Cardinals in his next start.
