Ty Gibbs the Obvious DFS Pick at Kansas After Blown Tire in Practice
1 year agoDuring practice on Saturday at Kansas Speedway, Ty Gibbs' No. 54 Toyota was one of the fastest on the track, with the rookie posting the 6th-fastest single lap of the session along with the 3rd-fastest ten-lap average. Unfortunately, a blown tire late in practice caused Gibbs to nail the wall, and the team decided to just get the backup car out to race with on Sunday. Gibbs didn't attempt a lap during qualifying on Saturday, and because of that he will have to start from 36th-place when the Hollywood Casino 400 goes green. In DraftKings, this makes the $7,600 driver one of the safest (and most obvious) picks on the slate, as just a top-15 finish would provide DFS players with massive value on Sunday due to the place differential points.
