Zack Moss "Progressing Well"
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that running back Zack Moss (arm) was at the team's walkthrough practice on Monday and is "progressing well" ahead of the Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's unknown how much exactly Moss did on Monday, though, and he should still be considered very questionable for the first week of the regular season. But even if he sits out in Week 1, it seems likely that Moss will return for a Week 2 matchup against the Houston Texans. If the 25-year-old doesn't play this weekend, Deon Jackson and rookie Evan Hull will likely split the backfield work against Jacksonville. When healthy, Moss is expected to be Indy's lead rusher until Jonathan Taylor (ankle) returns from the Physically Unable to Perform list.
