Pablo Lopez Posts Quality Start, Takes Loss Tuesday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez turned in a decent start Tuesday but took the loss in a 4-2 game against the Guardians. Lopez pitched six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits (including a solo home run) and three walks with five strikeouts. The 27-year-old has had an inconsistent season, mixing outstanding appearances with disappointing ones. He is now 9-7 with a 3.72 ERA and a 10.71 K/9 rate in 27 starts. He will have the opportunity to redeem himself in his next start at the Guardians.
