Milwaukee Brewers rookie outfielder Sal Frelick is taking a seat on the bench on Tuesday with the team facing left-hander Justin Steele and the Chicago Cubs. Joey Wiemer is playing center field for the Brewers and is hitting in the sixth spot in the batting order against Steele. Frelick missed some time last week with a hamstring injury and has also only had eight plate appearances against left-handers in his first major-league season. In his first 88 big-league at-bats, the 23-year-old is hitting .250/.378/.409 with three home runs, five doubles, 19 RBI, five stolen bases and 18 runs scored in his 111 trips to the plate. Wiemer has hit only .212 (73-for-345), but he's also produced 13 home runs and 11 stolen bases in part-time duty.
