Kendre Miller Plays With Second Stringers
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints rookie running back Kendre Miller started in the preseason finale, but struggled to get moving. He carried the ball eight times for 14 yards and added three receptions for 10 yards on five targets. In a game where New Orleans rested their starters, including Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams, Miller worked in with the second stringers. This gesture signifies that he is firmly behind Williams in the pecking order to start the season, and should be the third running back on the roster following Kamara's Week 4 return. Miller will get playing opportunity early in his career given that he will be the RB2 in New Orleans for the first three weeks, but his volume could diminish upon Kamara's return from suspension. Be cautious adding him in season-long fantasy leagues, and keep him stashed in dynasty leagues.
