Rafael Devers To Undergo X-Rays
1 year agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (wrist) will undergo X-rays later on Sunday on his right wrist after he was scratched from the starting lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to manager Alex Cora. For now, the Red Sox are considering Devers to be day-to-day, but we'll have a better idea of how long he might be out once the results of his X-rays come back. The 26-year-old All-Star was hit by a pitch on Saturday. If X-rays come back negative, he could be right back in the lineup on Monday for the start of a series against the Houston Astros. Luis Urias is getting the start at the hot corner for Boston on Sunday and is hitting ninth in the lineup against Dodgers left-hander Caleb Ferguson. Devers is a must-start in fantasy when healthy, as he's clubbed 29 home runs and driven in 88 while batting .272 (128-for-471) on the year.
