AJ Dillon Handles Starting Duties In Preseason Finale
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon took six carries for 24 yards during the team's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The 25-year-old handled starting duties with veteran Aaron Jones given the night off and had a modest outing. After the starters were rested early in the second quarter, the remainder of carries were spread around the backups as Green Bay assessed who would be the team's RB3 at the start of the regular season. Dillon saw 13 carries and gained 63 yards through three preseason games, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. In a contract year, the fourth-year back will look to make his presence felt as he looks for a new contract with Green Bay, especially with Jones inching closer to 30 years of age. He should be considered a solid flex option heading into fantasy drafts.
