Reggie Jackson Ready To "Steady The Ship" Off Nuggets Bench
1 year agoDenver Nuggets point guard Reggie Jackson is getting ready for his first full season with the team and sees himself playing an important part off the bench. "My job is going to be to come in and try and steady the ship as much as I can when I'm in the game," Jackson told The Athletic's Tony Jones. "I think the young guys are going to be very fun to play with. There is a lot of talent in that locker room. As a second unit, we have to make sure that we are able to keep things rolling." The 33-year-old averaged 7.9 points and 3.1 assists in 19.9 minutes off the Denver bench last season. He did so with pretty awful shooting numbers, so Jackson should be able to up his numbers in 2023-24.
