SaRodorick Thompson Jr. Scores First Touchdown
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back SaRodorick Thompson Jr. led the team in rush attempts and yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys. Thompson was given the ball 11 times and ran for 50 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came from one yard out, with Thompson aiming to the corner of the end zone until his blockers were set up and he was able to slip in for the score. His longest run of the night came with the Seahawks facing third-and-15. After taking the handoff, Thompson shot up the middle before bouncing off a few Cowboys and then scooted up the sideline for a 29-yard gain. The undrafted rookie won't be a factor in fantasy football, but his performance Saturday may have helped him secure a spot on Seattle's roster.
