Mike Gesicki Leaves Monday's Practice Early Due To Injury
1 year agoNew England Patriots tight end Mike Gesicki (upper body) left Monday's training camp practice early with an upper-body injury that he suffered during a tackling drill against linebacker Jahlani Tavai. Gesicki walked off the field in pain with a trainer while grabbing under his shoulder pads and didn't return. It's unclear how serious the 27-year-old's injury is at this time, so make sure to check back for updates. If Gesicki ends up missing considerable time, it will only raise the fantasy value of Hunter Henry heading into the regular season. Gesicki has a nice chance to bounce back in his first year in New England, but the presence of Henry will keep his fantasy ceiling limited. Target Gesicki as a low-end TE2 in deeper leagues as long as his injury isn't too serious.
