Michael McDowell Risky Option At Indianapolis.
1 year agoMichael McDowell begins fourth for Sunday's Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. Now, the 2021 Daytona 500 champion has more than proven himself on road courses throughout his Cup career. Since Indianapolis' technical nature suits his style well, the Front Row Motorsports star will likely maintain a presence in the top 10 throughout the day. However, from a DFS standpoint, things get more tricky. While the No. 34 is capable of finishing in the top 10 on Sunday, his DraftKings salary is $7,500, which is much higher than we typically see him priced at. Combining his salary and starting position means the 38-year-old would have to finish in the top five just to hit the 5x value we are looking for. It is probably best to limit your exposure to McDowell this weekend.
