Yasmani Grandal Exits Early Tuesday With Left Knee Soreness
1 year agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal (knee) left Tuesday's 7-1 loss to the Yankees in the sixth inning with left knee soreness, per the team's Twitter page. Grandal had gone 0-for-1 before being replaced defensively by Carlos Perez in the sixth inning. The 34-year-old veteran should be considered day-to-day. Grandal's power has declined over the past several seasons, limiting his fantasy value. He is slashing .243/.317/.366 with eight home runs and 30 RBI in 325 plate appearances.
