1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs doesn't appear to be nearing a return anytime soon. It's already known a long-term agreement can't happen this season. But to make matters worse, both sides remain at a stalemate regarding a modified one-year contract. Outside of Jacobs playing on a tag, several options could happen in this situation, including the Raiders rescinding the franchise tender. If that happens and the 25-year-old becomes a free agent, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a "source with knowledge," indicated that the Chiefs and Broncos could enter the picture. Undoubtedly, Jacobs' fantasy outlook is brightest by staying in Vegas. However, a potential move to Kansas City or Denver would likely mean fewer touches not only for him but also for Javonte Williams (knee), Isiah Pacheco (hand, shoulder), and Jerick McKinnon, among others, during the 2023-24 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
