Winnipeg Jets center Rasmus Kupari has agreed to a two-year contract with the club, landing himself a $2 million deal. The 23-year-old was a restricted free agent after being acquired from Los Angeles in the Pierre-Luc Dubois trade. Kupari played in 66 games with the Kings last season, scoring three times and delivering 12 assists. He was the team's first-round pick in 2018 and notched 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) in 130 regular-season games overall with the Kings. After averaging barely 10 minutes per game last season, Kupari will hope for a bigger role on his new team, and he could get a chance to cement himself as a third-liner for the Jets if Mark Scheifele eventually moves on.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
