1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has held much of the momentum so far in training camp in the QB competition against Kyle Trask. Mayfield has command of the offense and is considered better-suited to run a Dave Canales offense, which features more play-action and throws on the move. However, Trask has come on strong in recent days. The battle needs more time to play out, and the Bucs don't seem to be in a rush to name a starter. This is a competition that probably will run the course of the preseason, so we won't have an official starter until then. Mayfield, the former No. 1 overall pick, just has so much more experience than Trask. It would feel like an upset if Trask won the gig to begin the regular season, but Mayfield will have to play well to hold him off.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
