Rashee Rice Seeing First-Team Repetitions
1 year agoSince Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney injured his knee on Sunday, rookie Rashee Rice has received the most repetitions with the first-team offense in training camp. Rice appears to be making fewer mistakes with each passing day, and his catching ability has been superb. The 23-year-old made an impressive diving catch on a perfect throw from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Monday's red-zone period. The No. 55 overall pick in this year's draft is off to a good start, but he still has a ways to go and probably won't have much of a role in the Chiefs offense early on unless Toney is unable to make it back for the start of the regular season. If he continues to impress and Toney continues to sit out, Rice's ADP will only rise as a potential late-round flier.
