1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (head) won't be activated when first eligible to come off the injured list, according to manager Buck Showalter. Marte has been sidelined due to migraines, but was originally expected to make his return on Thursday. However, it sounds like Marte is expecting a child in the next few days, so he'll likely go on the paternity leave list. That means, he'll possibly be sidelined for the rest of the week, but we'll see what happens. That good news is, it sounds like Marte has recovered from his migraines, so he should be back soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
